In 2019，China’s catering industry still maintained a rapid development trend. The whole situation of tourism catering safety was good，but there were still many safety accidents. The types and causes of safety accidents werevarious and some of them were harmful，causing serious consequences. The main factors influencing catering safety came from government，operators and consumers. Looking ahead to 2020，tourism catering safety risks will remain diversified，and the prevention and control of infectious public health safety incidents will become a new target of catering safety management，and small restaurants will remain the main target of government regulation. To guarantee the safety of the tourist catering industry，and strengthen the awareness of prevention and control of infectious public safety incidents，government，restaurant operators and consumers need to work together.
