Judicial advice is an important way for people’s courts to actively extend trial functions and participate in social governance. By arranging the data sent by the judicial advice of the two levels of courts in Shenzhen from 2017-2019，it is found that the courts are paying more and more efforts to judicial advice，the organization and management of judicial advice is gradually standardized，and the quality of judicial advice is also significantly improved. The procedures are becoming more standardized and their functions are better demonstrated in Shenzhen. However，there are also some problems and bottlenecks in the judicial advisory work. It is necessary to work together internally and externally to deepen and improve the judicial advice work of the Shenzhen courts.
