Guangzhou has not only undertaken the task of poverty alleviation in the northern mountainous areas of the city and Meizhou and Qingyuan of the Guangdong province，but also undertaken the task of help western regions of 36 counties reduce poverty，that spread Sichuan Chongqing，Tibet and Xinjiang province. The paper summarizes the situation and effect of poverty alleviation and by Guangzhou，analyzes the key points and characteristics of precision poverty alleviation and east-west counterpart support by Guangzhou，points out existing problems，and puts forward measures and suggestions on the basis of the above research.
