The global world is facing increasingly severe pressure of resource and environmental challenges，and the demand for sustainable development leads to urgent requirement for green technology innovation，transfer and transformation（GTITT）. In the process of dealing with global resource and environment problems and climate change challenges，the Green Technology Bank（GTB）came into being which is a typical case of GTITT under the background of China. This paper reviews the background，process and characteristics of the GTB，and expounds the design of exclusive standard system，the key technology of green technology bank. On this basis，in response to the call of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology for the establishment of a market-oriented green technology innovation system，the paper puts forward suggestions for the future development of the green technology banks from the perspective of platform construction，including strengthening the combination of green technology and the finance platform，enriching the information platform database，and building a global-oriented technological innovation and transfer platform.
