As a think tank report of automobile industry，automobile yearbooks collect the basic data of the development of automobile industry by using the empirical analysis method，which plays a positive role in promoting the development of automobile industry. This report makes a statistical analysis of the data of the first titles of automobile Pishu published since 2006，including 22 titles and 81 automobile yearbooks. Statistics show that the total number of series，varieties and reports of automobile Pishu are increasing year by year，but the quality and standardization show uneven. Comprehensive evaluation ranks lower than other types of Pishus，the content of the professional and empirical aspects also need to be improved. Based on the analysis of word frequency and knowledge atlas，the focus of automotive Pishu are mainly on the power source of new energy vehicles and the intelligent field of vehicles in recent years. Finally，this report expounds the industry value of the automobile books，which are the recorder of the development track and the intellectual source of the automobile industry. The report also puts forward that the core content and orientation of the yearbooks should be determined according to the direction of the subdivided industries，and the synergy effect should be formed through the sharing of data resources and the effective integration. In the future，the automobile yearbooks should pay attention to the frontier and hot spot of industry development and expand the social and international influence. This report provides reference and direction for more industries to join in the research of the industry Pishu，and to launch more valuable think tanks output of the industry.
