Since the operation of the national monitoring and management platform for NEVs in 2017，it has effectively supported the information safety and quality supervision on China’s NEVs and promoted the standardization and rapid development of the NEV industry. This paper systematically analyzes the operating rules and characteristics of NEVs from the dimensions of driving mileage，driving time and launch rate，and explains the failure types of NEVs in combination with the vehicle early warning model. Based on multi-dimensional analysis，this paper provides readers with an understanding of the operating rules and characteristics of NEVs，and provides references for ensuring the healthy and safe upgrade of the NEV industry at the operating end. At the same time，this paper also puts forward suggestions and considerations from strengthening the supervision role of the platform，creating a data ecosystem of the entire industry chain and paying attention to the data mining and analysis of NEV parts and components.
