This chapter introduces the policy，standard and industrial development of the power battery industry in China and analyzes the major problems still existing in the industry such as incomplete policy，regulation and standard system，lack of effective recycling system，unobvious comprehensive utilizing economy and the need of making further breakthrough in the common technologies in the industry. Hereby targeting at those problems the chapter proposes that China study and formulate special regulations，constantly improve the supporting systems，build sound technical standard system，enhance the R&D in technology and equipment，and strengthen industrial supervision and law enforcement，all of which can function as the reference for the government and enterprises.
