The self-study should be an effective path for unregulated students to reach higher education, and a rare opportunity to realize their life span. The QXA self-study case of trainees proposes that prisons can help trainees to continuously tap their own potential and advantages, make up for their own shortcomings and deficiencies, and because of teaching by people and guiding by situation, there may be more trainees to realize their higher education dreams. By introducing the story of Happy Enemies: Duty Officer JH and Student YWQ, this article concludes that it is difficult for juvenile offenders to surpass their own social environment. The education practice provided by the prison will determine their future destiny to a large extent. The re-socialization education that the society can give the two people cannot be completed overnight, and this subtle influence will continue to accompany the long life paths of the two after they leave prison.
