Family leisure has always been considered to have a positive function of promoting parent-child relationships, fostering husband-wife friendship, and improving the quality of life. With the change of social structure, the importance of family leisure life is increasing, and family leisure experience has a very important impact on improving the emotional connection between family members. Many feminist and more cultural scholars have criticized the past understanding of leisure as being too influenced by Western culture. For a long time, leisure was defined as "free and optional personal experience", and too much emphasis was placed on personal experience, ignoring the implications Social relations, social structures, and cultural and historical context.
