This report is based on the questionnaires of “price-controlled housing demand survey and preregister” for three months’ time conducted by Guangzhou Municipal Land Resources and Housing Administrative Bureau. This report reveals that the population who want and are eligible for purchasing the price-controlled housing is limited,comparing with the potential provision of this kind of housing. And the price-controlled housing are now facing the dilemma that either the eligible candidates are not able to purchase,or the people with purchasing ability are not eligible. And the practice of price-controlled housing encounters non-transparent information of the candidate’s income. The conclusion and the suggestion are:permitting the candidates such as civil servants,institutional personnel,high school teachers and researchers who can provide higher transparent income evidence having priority to purchase the price-controlled housing.
