Since 2018，provinces in the middle reaches of the Changjiang River have actively implemented the spirit of central deployment and the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Wuhan Forum，continued to strengthen environmental protection，put the restoration of the Changjiang River ecological environment in an overwhelming position，and issued a series of regulations，resolutions and implementation plans for promoting ecological construction and green development in the middle reaches of the Changjiang River，it has achieved a win-win situation for economic growth and green development. At the same time，there are some problems with green development in the middle reaches of the Changjiang River，and the pace of green development needs to be accelerated to help the green Changjiang River be completed as soon as possible.
