As the main battlefield of poverty alleviation in Jiangxi Province，the proportion of poor counties，poor villages，and poor people in Gannan Soviet Area all exceeds one-third of the province. The Gannan Soviet Area fully utilizes the combined advantages of the Several Opinions and the policy of poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation to oversee the overall economic and social development. It actively explores a new path for the simultaneous establishment of a moderately prosperous society in the poor and old areas. The best policy and the most powerful measures were to formulate a “1 + 8” policy for poverty alleviation and tackle poverty. With the “embroidery” effort，the pace of poverty alleviation has accelerated significantly，and the incidence of poverty has dropped from 23.45% to 2.45%. Although the Gannan Soviet Area’s poverty alleviation efforts have achieved staged results，there are still large gaps in the horizontal comparison. The level of poverty is still deep. Further support is needed to ensure that all remaining poor people are lifted out of poverty by 2020.
