In the first half of 2010，Chongqing’s GDP grows 17.6 percent year-on-year，taking the third the national place，first place in the west of our country. CASS index is 94.96 of Chongqing in the second quarter of 2010，hitting the highest in history. This suggests that with the going well of international and domestic economic development situation，the developing situation is excellent. Looking to the future，Chongqing fixed asset investment has larger development space，but still faces price increasing rapidly，foreign reserves insufficient，and enterprises confront production cost pressures increasing gradually and other factors.
