It was a crucial year for the development of media convergence in 2018-19. With the challenge of new managerial structure，new platforms，new content，and new technologies，the reform of traditional media industry has been further deepened. In 2018，Shannxi Province’s media industry had made significant contributions to the process of media convergence. Specifically，in the mainstream newspaper industry，some integrated media command centers had been established to form new media cluster. In radio and television，the “Silk Road Qinling Cloud” had been built to integrate provincial，municipal and county media. In terms of websites，news products were abundant and diverse，and hot style products were emerging frequently. In the county-level media convergence，relevant construction had been rapidly promoted. The purpose of this report is to clarify the current situation，classic cases and development characteristics of media convergence in Shannxi Province，and put forward corresponding measures and suggestions for its future development.
