The folklore of ICH safeguarding needs to accurately grasp the traditional cultural contexts of the folklore. We should restore，create and innovate the traditional cultural contexts that carry the folklore to adapt to the development of the new era which is the effective path of safeguarding. Taking the “Nvshu custom” as an example，the traditional cultural contexts of “Nvshu custom” include：the tradition of reading and reciting between the sisters in the family and between the female elders and the younger generations，and the Zuo Getang ceremony in the wedding ceremony and the text of Nvshu called San Zhaoshu，which was used as the symbol of bride’s social status and her happiness in the future. Based on the preparation of the traditional contexts of “Nvshu custom”，Jiangyong County Government has accumulated successful experience for reference in building family tradition，cultural and ecological museum construction，ICH research tourism，international communication.
