Using the date of four phases from “China Family Panel Survey” between 2010 and 2016，this research report tries to analyze the contemporary youth’s ideas on childrearing and children education. According to the findings，most Chinese youth would recognize the importance of marriage on their children’s growth；meanwhile，they also have stronger sense of responsibility on rearing their children. Chinese youth generally have higher educational expectation for their children；most young parents think that they should economize food and clothing，hence create better educational condition for their children. High proportion of parents would like to send their children to study abroad. According to the findings from subsample，there are obvious urban-rural difference and class difference in contemporary youth’s ideas on childrearing and children education；some indicators have changed obviously with time. Based on these findings，this research report tries to put forward several suggestions for the future，namely paying close attention to the family’s ideas on childrearing and education，striving to improve the educational equality，and guiding the family education to develop in healthy and rational direction.
