This book will conduct empirical research on some theoretical and practical issues related to energy and coal, including coal price, coal consumption and air pollution, coal consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, coal demand growth limit, coal output limit (peak), coal resource optimal consumption path, etc. To this end, we will review and comment on the relevant research results of the above issues, and on this basis, determine the research starting point of this book. We have collected more than 230 original documents through the Chinese and foreign language database of the library of Southwest University of Finance and economics, and 120 documents are actually used for review. The publication time of the documents is from 1949 to 2015, and most of the documents are published after 2000.
