VR news channel is an information dissemination channel accompanied by the development of VR/AR technology. Through the overall research and analysis of VR news channel in China，we find that the development of VR news channel in China is uneven，and the performance of the main social responsibility is poor，among which the responsibility of “information production” and “cultural education” are in the middle. The responsibility of “value guidance” and “coordination communication” are poorly fulfilled. The research holds that the sustainable development of VR news channels should be shaped from four aspects：creating a long information board and strict process management；guiding the shaping of social consensus and make up the gap of social supervision；inheriting multi-culture and enriching the content of science，education and entertainment；coordinating diverse information and building interactive platform and user experiences.
