<<In the past year of 2019,western media adopted a two pronged strategy. On the one hand,they did more. The mergers and acquisitions of media produced Big Mac to fight against monopoly of technology platform. They turned to podcasts and videos to build a close relationship with young users and sought more business possibilities when there were bottlenecks in paid subscriptions. On the other hand,they did less. They returned to slow news production and maintained user stickiness with quality content. Platform media entered the melee in order to grab more market share,at the same time,they strengthened the support to the journalism and the privacy protection of users in order to recover the reputation. Local journalism was struggling to survive,exploring new business models with the help of many parties.
