Chongqing is a traditional province of biotechnology. In the new round of reform，Chongqing seizes the opportunity of medical device development. On the one hand，Chongqing has issued a major favorable policy to attract global partners to Chongqing for development，on the other hand，it vigorously solves the development ecology of existing medical device manufacturers. This paper reviews the current situation of existing medical device manufacturers in Chongqing. Summarizes the mode of developing medical device industry in Chongqing by means of industrial cluster，and puts forward the idea that innovation and sharing is the way to develop domestic medical devices.
