From 1 to 2 November 2019，the eighteenth meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO member states was held in Tashkent，the capital of Uzbekistan. Heads of State and representatives of member States，representatives of observer States，representatives of dialogue partners，heads of SCO institutions，guests from the host countries and heads of the Commonwealth of Independent States，Conference on Interaction and Conference Building Measures in Asia，the Eurasian Economic Commission，Association of Southeast Asian Nations，the United Nations and other international organizations attended the meeting. The meeting was led by the implementation of the outcome of the of the Bishkek heads of state council meeting to promote the high-quality development of SCO. Representatives of the member states exchanged views on the current international and regional economic situation in a friendly，constructive and pragmatic atmosphere，identified key directions and priority areas for deepening cooperation between the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the fields of economy，trade，humanities and security，and signed a series of documents including The Shanghai Cooperation Organization heads of government（prime minister）council meeting communique.
