The MasterCard Worldwide Index of Women's Advancement measures women's economic and social status in Asia-Pacific,Middle East and Africa. The index includes five categories: enterprise ownership,enterprise and government leadership,labor and employment,regular employment,and high education opportunity. The ratio of women to men is reflected in each category in market. The following countries and regions are listed according to their marks,from high to low: Australia,Philippine,New Zealand,Singapore,Hong Kong,Thailand,Malaysia,Taiwan,Indonesia,China,Vietnam,South Korea,Japan and India in Asia-Pacific market. Although women can enjoy the same job and education opportunities,only a small number of women are able to become enterprise owners. There is still a long way to go for women to get more job and education opportunities.
