in this paper，Anshan Iron and Steel Group and South Korea POSCO iron and Steel Group，two well-known domestic and foreign steel manufacturers，and Hebei Iron and Steel Group （hereinafter referred to as Hebei Iron and steel） are selected for benchmarking analysis. The results show that Hebei Iron and Steel Group has high debt ratio，low management level，low labor efficiency，low product technology content，lack of corporate culture. Based on benchmarking results，combined with domestic and foreign advanced Based on the development experience of iron and steel enterprises，this paper puts forward some suggestions for the future development of Hebei Iron and steel industry，such as reducing the debt ratio，enhancing the turnover rate of products，strengthening the supply chain management and strengthening the cultural construction of the enterprise itself.
