Taking the basic public services of all cities in Hebei Province as the research object，with the help of entropy method，imbalance index and coefficient of variation，this paper discusses the difference and equalization level of basic public services of all prefecture-level cities in Hebei Province under the background of coordinated development. It is found that：the basic public service space of different cities in Hebei Province is quite different，and the overall level is not high；the spatial differentiation of various basic public services is different；the equalization level of infrastructure public service and ecological environment public service is high，the equalization level of education and housing security public service is low，and the basic public services of Zhangjiakou，Qinhuangdao，Tangshan，Baoding and Handan are all low. The service development is relatively balanced，and the imbalance index of basic public service supply in Chengde and Hengshui is relatively high. On this basis，this paper puts forward suggestions to promote the equalization of basic public services in Hebei Province under the background of coordinated development from three levels of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region，Hebei Province and cities.
