In the year of 2018，economic development in Foshan maintained steady with improved economic structure，and better development quality and efficiency. Foshan，on the one hand，took active measures to impel the infrastructure development of the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt，on the other hand，propelled Guangdong-Guangxi Cooperation in depth led by the construction of Guangdong-Guangxi-Guizhou High Speed Railway Economic Belt. Besides，Foshan participated in accelerating regional economic integration with the building of Guangzhou-Foshan Metropolitan Circle as a demonstration. Foshan will combine the major regional development strategies to deepen the economic belt construction，vigorously build the development poles of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area so as to promote the development of the adjacent areas，accelerate the construction of modernized transportation infrastructure network for better connectivity，and build a modern industrial system with international competitiveness.
