President Xi Jinping has clearly indicated to promote the high-quality economic development by the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. This economic belt covers 11 provinces and cities，which means that the achievement of the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt can support the high-quality development of “half of the country”，then that of the whole country. Since Yangtze River Economic Belt was included into national strategies five years ago，high quality development pattern has been gradually formed thanks to the plan-guided efforts supported by transportation，with ecology as a priority and with innovation in mechanism to promote new type of urbanization. The experiences of such development in Yangtze River will likely better promote high-quality development of the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt.
