Nowadays Chinese government offer employment assistance services for college students among people on official poverty record in 3 ways：degree pursuing assistance，job applying assistance and entrepreneurship assistance. Finishing school study is the priority of job applying. In order to assist college students in poverty to finish school study and earn the degree，Chinese government has settled scholarships，student grants，attendance award，student loan，tuition fee wavier and more assistance mechanisms. Chinese government also help college students in poverty for job applying by offering job opening information and pre-work training，developing new job position，setting job subsidy and partner assistance，helping job transferring and any other assistance. For college students in poverty who would like to start business，Chinese government gives them assistance by motivating them and training their ability，offering subsidies，low interest loan and tax deduction，and cooperating with e-commerce platform. This thesis shared achievements and experience of accelerating the employment process，enhancing the work ability of local government，increasing the diversity of employment，creating the lively environment of entrepreneurship，empowering the pre-work training，settling complete employment protection mechanism of employment assistance for college students in poverty in chronological order，and pointed out the important information in these parts. This thesis aimed to enhance the work ability of government and offered 8 effective ways to serve college students in poverty of employment issue under the goal of economic development and welfare service，and also gave advices on how to build college student employment information platform，increase the job market for students，expand the coverage of employment assistance，change job biases among people and offer students helpful pre-work training.
