In 2010, the average income of Beijing women surveyed was 6952.8 yuan, and their average family income was 17000 yuan, ranking 3rd among the 10 cities in September. 45.4 percent women's income increased and 34 percent were satisfied with their income. 57.1 percent women were satisfied with their job. Work satisfaction scored 3.6, lower than the 10 cities' average. Women surveyed worked 8.5 hours daily on average. 89.2 percent felt work pressure. Their living surrounding only scored 17.31, the lowest among the 10 cities. 78.1 percent found life happy, and their sense of happiness scored 3.87, ranking the 5th among the 10 cities. They considered the happiest things were: keeping family members healthy, family harmonious and work smooth. They worried most about rising prices, costly housing and low family income. Their life quality score was 78.0, ranking 7th among the 10 cities. In 2011, 55.3 percent women hope their income will increase so as to improve their life quality.
