Minority concentrated regions are facing the multiple challenges of accelerating the transformation of population and economic structure. The level of economic development and social security construction are relatively lagging behind. The development of public services for the elderly in minority concentrated regions is related to the smooth realization of the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way. Taking Inner Mongolia autonomous region as an example，this paper conducts a sampling survey on the long-term care demands of the elderly，and explores how to promote the construction of the elderly service system in minority concentrated regions. The study finds that the aging is faster and deeper in minority concentrated regions，the health of the elderly is worrying，the demand for old-age services is strong，and the supply of old-age services is insufficient. It is suggested that a long-term care insurance system suitable for minority concentrated regions should be established as soon as possible.
