At present，China faces serious governmental credit risks，highlighting the importance of culture of governmental credit. From the perspective of a big history，this paper proposes that the construction of China’s governmental credit system should start from the construction of culture of governmental credit system. To restore the culture of a nation is to restore the nation. Today this is the foothold of culture of governmental credit，and is also the most important mission and responsibility of culture of governmental credit. It should focus on guiding and promoting “cultural self-confidence” to construct the system of culture of governmental credit，returning to the cultural origin of China’s 5000-year-old history，and promoting the development and innovation of the practice of governmental credit with deep source；correcting themselves，guiding the public to rebuild morality and regain faith with the core values of Chinese and western civilization such as honesty，kindness，tolerance，etc.. At the same time，the construction of culture of governmental credit should be institutionalized so that honesty education and honesty culture construction can be truly implemented and receive practical results.
