The regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta，which has risen to the Chinese national strategy in 2019，brings new opportunities and new demands. On the basis of summarizing the strategic evolution process and the latest goal orientation of the regional integration development of the Yangtze River Delta，the paper firstly explains and describes the strategic positioning，basic advantages and short boards of the development of Jiangsu Province under the goal of high-quality integration. Then，we consider that under the goal of high-quality integration in the Yangtze River Delta，Jiangsu can take the tasks and achievements on the innovation-driven development of economy，the high-end and efficient development of industry，the coordinated development of regions，the equitable and harmonious development of society and the ecological-priority green development. Finally，we suggest that Jiangsu should implement some strategies，including promoting the infrastructure integration by interconnecting and sharing，promoting the industrial innovation integration by collaborative innovation，promoting the whole-region integration by the metropolitan integration，and promoting the integration of ecological environment by constructing ecological economic corridors.
