The digital development of the G20 countries is an epitome of the world as a whole. The measurement and evaluation of their digital competitiveness level can serve as an important reference for the digital transformation of countries around the world. The paper conducts an overall assessment on the digital competitiveness of G20 countries based on five indicators such as digital innovation，digital economy，digital governance，digital service and digital security. Based on the analysis of G20 countries，it can be summed up that China and the United States take the lead in the overall digital competitiveness，with European and Asian countries neck and neck，and African and South American countries lagging behind. China ranks the 1st among the G20 countries in terms of competitiveness indexes of digital economy and service.
