It is urgent for Beijing educational informationization to change traditional developing ideas and construct new developing model by entering the era of educational informationization 2.0 and Beijing educational reform and development. Current situation is described from the aspects of infrastructure，management informationization，teachers’ information literacy，deep integration between information technology and education，digital campus construction of primary and secondary schools，network and information safeguard. By further analyzing opportunities and challenges of Beijing，a series upgrading and promoting strategies are proposed in view of supporting and serving national and Beijing strategy deployment，optimizing infrastructure environment and network safety，advancing confluence and share of digital education resources，improving teachers’ and students’ information literacy，playing a role of confluence，innovation，demonstration and lead，enhancing the capacity of “Internet+Education”.
