In 2018，the added value of secondary industry in Beijing was 446.46 billion yuan，of which the added value of modern manufacturing industry was 214.97 billion yuan，accounting for only 48.1%；the total output value of industries above designated size was 1921.29 billion yuan，of which the total output value of high-tech manufacturing industry above designated size was 422.82 billion yuan，accounting for only 22%. According to the statistical data，Beijing still has a large proportion of traditional manufacturing industries，which play an important role in supporting the economic development of Beijing. In the future，it is still necessary to continue to maintain the economic development in Beijing. However，according to the current functional positioning requirements of the capital city，it is urgent to upgrade these traditional manufacturing industries in an all-round way，promote the overall high-quality development of the industry，and support the modernization of the city Economic system construction.
