Green technology innovation is an important support for promoting the construction of a green and beautiful Yangtze river delta. The output level of green technology innovation in the Yangtze river delta presents a “pyramid” structure. There are significant differences in the comparative advantages of green innovation among different cities. As Yangtze river delta green innovation leader，Shanghai industry innovation driving the development of green industry，technological innovation to stimulate innovation elements flow and sharing，transfer platform innovation to drive the green innovation achievements transformation，system innovation to drive the green innovation，cooperative and comprehensive reform experiment，carrier innovation driving the development of Yangtze river delta integration of ecological green demonstration area construction，which lead the long triangle community building green technology innovation；However，there are still some problems in the construction of green innovation community led by Shanghai in the Yangtze river delta，such as the improvement of innovation capacity，the enhancement of carrier construction，the insufficiency of innovation incentive mechanism and the improvement of normal cooperation mechanism.
