As an environmental spatial management method，“three lines and one list” which aims at solving major environmental problems and improving the environmental quality and ecological functions in a certain district，integrates the red line of ecological protection，the baseline of environmental quality，and the upper limit of resource utilization into environmental management units，and formulates environmental admittance lists for these units. Coordinated environmental spatial management is important for the integrative development of Yangtze River Delta. In this essay a summary of Shanghai’s “three lines and one list” is presented，and an analysis is done about the commons，differences and major conflicts of the “three lines and one list” among the different districts in Yangtze River Delta，and finally some suggestions about the implement and regional coordination of “three lines and one list” are given for the environmental spatial management in Yangtze River Delta.
