Macao’s role as a service platform for economic and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries，assigned by the central government of China，reflects Macao’s importance and unique advantages. In recent years，Macao has played an increasingly important part in trade and cultural exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. The construction of a service platform mainly revolves around three centers，“the food product distribution center for Portuguese-speaking Countries”，“the center for conventions and exhibitions for economic and trade co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries”，and “the commercial and trade service center for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries”. The Macao SAR government has continued to promote the construction of the three centers and tremendous progress has been made. The platform has provided professional online services in a variety of fields，such as talents and personnel，food，exhibition and convention；it also helps build a good business environment to facilitate business activities. To further promote the construction of the three centers and optimize Macao’s role as a service platform，the pace of marketization should be accelerated，the purchasing quality should be improved，and the implementation of policies should be strengthened.
