The economy of Guangdong has maintained a stable development trend and continued to operate within a reasonable range since 2019，but it has shown a trend of slowing down quarter by quarter，and faced with increased downward pressure. Looking forward to 2020，the downward pressure of domestic economy will be greater，the internal and external environment of economic development of Guangdong will be more severe，but the domestic institutional and policy dividends will be released faster. It is expected that Guangdong’s economy will grow by about 6.2% in 2020. Based on the prediction，the paper puts forward some policy suggestions.
