2019 is the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China，and the 20th Anniversary of Macau’s Return to the Motherland. Manycelebration events during the year can attract many tourists to visit Macau. With the continuous improvement of the income and living standards of families in Mainland，and the opening of individual tours to Hong Kong and Macau by residents in the Mainland in 2003，the demand for Macau’s tourism services continued to increase，which promoted the social development and economic construction of the SAR. It is expected that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area will continue to develop in the future characterized by the effective allocation of tourism resources in the area and the continuous improvement of cross-border infrastructure facilities. Cities in the area can enhance the competitiveness of tourism service exports of China.
