2018年，湖北省新华书店（集团）有限公司（以下简称湖北新华）连续两年跻身全国发行集团前十强。进入第一方阵后，湖北新华在传统业务和新兴业务上亮点突出，在湖北特色“全民阅读”品牌矩阵建立、实体书店布局优化、标准化运用等方面，取得了显著成绩，实现了湖北新华向阅读服务商新定位的转型。
