The situation in Myanmar in 2018 has changed significantly from the previous year，and progress has been made in many fields such as politics，economy，diplomacy and domestic security. This year，the NLD government has done a lot of concrete work in maintaining political stability，promoting economic openness，opening up diplomatic situations，and improving domestic security. Despite the ongoing conflicts between the Myanmar military and the ethnic local armed forces，the NLD government is still committed to advancing the domestic peace process and taking the initiative to eliminate the negative effects at home and abroad caused by the “Rohingya” crisis.
