Currently，the comprehensive reform in high school education is advancing in depth. The factors affecting the reform and development of school education are uncertain and complex. Among the factors，effective government support is the key to the success of education reform. Taking comprehensive education reform of Chongqing Bishan Middle School as an example and starting from the local government security of the system of education reform，policies and finance，the paper discusses the measures of comprehensive reform taken by the school in building good education environment，optimizing the school management team，perfecting evaluation system，promoting professional qualities and implementing curriculum reform with the support from the local government. The paper focuses on the comparison and analysis of the College Entrance Examination achievements and awards for the teachers and students before and after the reform，aiming to show that the strong support from the local government is the key to further advancing education reform in high schools and making quick achievements.
