The employment index is an important quantitative tool for assessing employment situation and employment work in the region. This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the important significance of building an employment index in Beijing. Based on the relevant employment index at home and abroad，combined with the actual needs of Beijing，the framework of the Beijing employment index system is constructed，and the specific construction methods are deeply studied.
