Turkey is an important country along route of the Belt and Road and also is one of the first countries to explicitly support the Belt and Road Initiative. This paper took five mainstream media in Turkey as the object，analyzes its “Belt and Road” related reports from September 2013 to June 2019，and the study found that：the “Belt and Road” reports of the mainstream media in Turkey are mostly objective and positive reports，negative reports account for relatively low；the Turkish mainstream media hold a positive attitude towards the global significance and impact of the Belt and Road Initiative，and believed that Turkey played a vital role in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative；the negative reports focus on the issues related to the border. This paper analyzes the factors affecting the Turkey mainstream media report，and puts forward some suggestions that doing a better job of “The Belt and Road” to the Turkish communication.
