2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China reform and opening-up. In response to China development achievements and changes in the international situation，the international community’s attention to China has further enhanced in 2018. Foreign pollsters have been doing investigation around China national image and foreign relations，looking at China development through four perspectives：China-U.S. relations，China economy，the Belt and Road and cultural soft power. Over the past year，according to a survey，China image as a global power has become clearer in the opinion of the international public. On this basis，this paper puts forward countermeasures for the implementation of international polls from the aspects of effect evaluation mechanism，the construction of poll database，the setting of international agenda related to China.
