This paper takes 433 Chinese-related reports of the Kenyan National Media Group “Daily Nation” in 2018 as the research object,and tries to draw the image of China in the Chinese-related reports of the African media in 2018 from the aspects of the frequency,classification and emotional tendency of the reports. It also sorts out the emergence of sovereignty concerns,racism and other Chinese-related public opinions in Africa in 2018,and puts forward some suggestions on the construction of China’s image in Africa from the aspects of constructing the discourse system of China-Africa cooperation,promoting human exchanges between China and Africa,enhancing the image of China’s enterprises,and improving the early warning mechanism of public opinion.
