Based on the basic economic and social data of the 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Zone，this report focuses on four aspects：first，the goal setting of a well-off society in an all-round way，the selection of standards for a well-off society and its evolution law；second，it evaluates the overall situation and characteristics of the well-off development of the economy and society in the Yangtze River Economic Zone，especially in the 11 provinces. Four aspects of the city’s economic development，people’s livelihood，cultural construction and resources and environment are the main situations. Thirdly，the prominent contradictions and key issues that need to be further solved in the process of building a well-off society in an all-round way in the Yangtze River Economic Zone are excavated and analyzed，including the imbalance，instability and inadequacy of the development among the three large cities，and the 11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze In the process of well-off society，the time difference and spatial imbalance，the regional differences within provinces，the differences between urban and rural areas and the external shocks may cause problems. Fourthly，starting from the realistic foundation and main problems of provinces and cities，and taking the handling of the “five relations” as the basic criterion，the paper proposes to promote the Yangtze River economic zone. Some ideas and suggestions are put forward for a well-off society in an all-round way. As an important carrier of China’s new round of high-quality development，a pioneer demonstration zone of ecological priority and green development，an important corridor for further opening up in the future，and a new highland for China’s participation in international economic competition and cooperation，the Yangtze River Economic Zone is well-off in an all-round way for achieving the goal of “two hundred years”. The Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has far-reaching historical significance and great practical significance. To sort out and grasp the overall situation of the well-off development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone in an all-round way is of great guiding value for further promoting regional coordinated innovation and development.
