This report scientifically and systematically evaluates the industrial transformation and evolution of the 110 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2017 from four areas：structural optimization，quality improvement，industrial innovation and environmental friendliness. On this basis，the city’s industrial transformation index and comprehensive index and four domain sub-indexes were ranked，and they were analyzed from three scales：cities，provinces and urban agglomerations. Finally，the development of the top 20 leading cities in the comprehensive index was highlighted.
