The evaluation index system of the driving force of technological innovation in the cities of Yangtze River Economic Belt is established. This system obtains the comprehensive index of the driving force of technological innovation，including four first-class indicators of technological innovation input，carrier，output and performance，which can be divided into ten second-class indicators，and the comprehensive index weights are set based on the AHP-EVM model. This article evaluates the driving force of technological innovation of the 110 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt comprehensively and systematically，and compare the upstream，midstream and downstream，and analyze the top twenty most innovative cities in detail.
