Based on the improved green development index evaluation system of the Yangtze River Economic Zone，this report systematically and comprehensively evaluates the green development level of 110 cities from three dimensions，that is，green ecology，green production and green life. According to the comprehensive index and three special indexes，110 cities are ranked and the top 20 important cities in the Yangtze River Economic Zone are emphatically analyzed. The results show that Zhoushan，Hangzhou and Kunming have the best comprehensive level of green development in the Yangtze River economic belt. In terms of subdivisions，Pu’er，Shanghai and Xinyu are the best in green ecology，green production and green life respectively.
